What We Do
Rachel Mandel MD Consulting LLC provides you with the experience of a senior healthcare consultant who has the perspectives of a clinician, a graduate school professor, speaker, and a physician executive. She has a passion for health equity, operational excellence in healthcare, process improvement, and the provision of population health-based care. Dr. Mandel has a special interest in supporting the adoption and implementation of innovative collective impact strategies in communities that want to achieve meaningful progress in the provision of health and social services.
About Dr. Mandel
Board Certified Ob/Gyn with a Master's in Health Administration who has served her community in many capacities. She trained with the U.S. Army through the Health Professions Scholarship Program which took her to many military health facilities throughout country. She then practiced obstetrics and gynecology in private practices in the Mid-Atlantic region, taught at the graduate level in the MHA program of Mount St. Mary's University after receiving her MHA and Green Belt in Lean Six Sigma and became a physician executive in a regional health system. These experiences led her to her interest in assisting organizations across the spectrum with strategic planning, health equity initiatives and community-based programs with a focus on advancing outcomes and success through a collective impact approach. Based on her unique experiences, she is a clinician with problem solving and critical thinking skills that can be leveraged in a multitude of circumstances. She enjoys this work because it is meaningful and rewarding.
